The great Martin Short (the funniest amigo) was on Letterman last night and absolutely killed. The Bush handshake/Candyman bit brought us to tears. And if you enjoyed that, his 2006 appearance to promote Jiminy Glick in Lalawood is one of the best extended segments (20 minutes!) in late night history. Don’t think so? You try it.
one of the funniest things about the Matthew and Modine joke is that Glick was a fan of the movie Birdie. love that nutjob.

martin short owns the live room, i saw him walk on at second city a couple years ago & never laughed so hard in my life, but i think steve martin may have him beat for funniest amigo.
