Outsmarted
Trailer deux for Get Smart with Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway actually looks pretty decent! Terrence Stamp is a huge addition to the cast, and if they can just keep Alan Arkin out of the diner, this thing might have potential. We sincerely hope it will be a hit for Carell, after the one two punch-flops of Evan Almighty and Dan in Real Life.

couldn’t think of a character more tailor-made for carell than max smart. his career has been all about being at the right place at the right time.
this is a big step up from his last role in the talking stain commercial.

are they gonna have a scene where The Rock comes bumping down the stadium stairs in a wheelchair cuz he’s basically playing the OJ role in this movie.
Apple has the clearest online trailers. Sometimes superior to what you get in the theater.
I caught the extended trailer at Wonder Con last week. A few chuckles I suppose. Nothing special. The big draw was having Steve Carrell, Anne Hathaway, and directer Peter Segal take Q&A from the gallery of nerds. For all intents and purposes, they all believe they made a great film, unlike the goons from 10,000 BC who sat there clueless to why they were even at a comic convention.

Annie looks hot. I wonder if Katie Holmes tried for the role. They’ve done a nice job of updating it and still staying true to the feel of the original.
