They really should have called the record “Interesting.” Sometimes in order to get out of bed in the morning I listen to them. Everything I’ve read or seen of them and their artwork is really strange. It’s not the lyrics that draw me. It’s something about their voices and the energy. I like how it does feel a little electronic, but it still feels like a band. Like I don’t wonder how they’ll make that sound live. Everyone in pop music is just selling the chorus, but this is a band that has hooks all over the place, and sometimes their hooks will only happen once, then disappear. There’s so much going on.
