Feels like Apatow has kind of changed the rhythm of comedy in movies, the way Abrams and Zucker once did. It might just be that he (Apatow) has his own style that’s not necessarily better or funnier just louder and more vulgar and not as broad in scope as Theroux and Stiller’s stuff.
