Wowee Zowee Secrets Revealed (not entirely)

Patrick from Matador recently informed me of some details about the upcoming (Fall release) Wowee Zowee Reissue. As of now I must remain vague, so here is what I can tell you:

  • Multiple album covers [like 20!] by Steve Keene
  • A never before heard [at least to my ears] concert during the Wowee Zowee Tour

  • A bundle of previous unreleased tracks and rarities note: many of the unreleased tracks are alternate takes

  • DOWNLOAD: “Grave Architecture”, live at BBC Session

To this day, Pavement stands as the only band I’ve ever heckled, and I’ve seen some real shitbags in concert (The Nixons. Remember them? I hope not). I told Steven to cheer the fuck up and I thought the bass player was going to lose his shit right there on stage. I guess he wanted to see Stevie Wonderful cheer the fuck up too but just didn’t quite know how to put it into words.

Ah Pavement and their penchant for hiring the goofiest looking drummers in the business.
