She's Having A Baby
Guess who didn’t think Judd Apatow’s Knocked Up was an instant classic. Sorry. Can’t help it. The subtle and sublime Freaks and Geeks gives Apatow a lifetime pass, but this movie is only consistently, decently funny (at least those parts with every hipgrrrl’s wet-dream Paul Rudd are), with much of the Rogen Posse humor falling flat, and the main characters so completely far-fetched as a couple or individuals that any interest in the two evaporates faster than the bizzaro baby-fantasy can progress.
Give: The little girls, Apatow’s real-life daughters, were hilarious, and Loudon Wainright III’s soundtrack contributions, which can be found on Strange Weirdos: Music from and Inspired by the Film Knocked Up, were great, as well.
Charles, 36, Attorney: Objection, you’re kind of an idiot.
Netflix: The Best of Primetime Glick
You’re not alone. I’ve had three people so far tell me that they’d wished they’d waited for DVD. So I think I will.
Is Glick even on anymore? He just disappeared one day. Funniest one is with Dave Thomas playing Bob Hope.
they should’ve kept more of the material from the trailers that didn’t make it into the film.
i thought it was right cute.
pot buddy humor gives me awkward goosebumps and makes me gag though.
i think goldenfiddle is sweet on rudd. i know i am.
and yet no pictiores of Rudd. Booo. Hiss. ::starting petition::
i was bowled over not only by leslie mann’s cute progeny, but moreso by her rare combo of hilarity, heart, and, yeah, hottness.
i am for serious.
the “you’re old as fuck” scene with the bouncer, then crying on the curb afterwards and somehow being able to scene steal so well. she’s apatow’s secret sauce.
Fair assessment. The same things that pushed 40 Year Old Virgin over the top detracted from the overall effectiveness of K.U. The length of the former allowed room for the endless stream of “what’d he say?” throwaway lines, many of which missed their mark in the latter, only adding to the dragged out factor. “Dudes” in supporting cast couldn’t hold the 40 Y.O. “Bros” jocks. Keener/Carrel had warmth, where Heigl/Rogen weren’t on screen long enough amidst all the sidetracking to make anyone care about the pairing.
We should want them to have a baby together why?
Well Nancy, 64, Actress, says its “Fan-f0ck-ing tastic” and that’s good enough for me. (Onion-like)
The premise is 100% retarded. The only good thing about this movie was the dude from Ghostbusters who plays Seth Rogen’s dad. Talk about excellent casting!
Just have an abortion already. That’s how I feel about this movie, and why I don’t want to go.
I enjoyed it, didn’t love it… Where was Romany Malco and the Indian Dude? Everyone else from 40yroldvirgin was there…
Jonah Hill is a funny motherfucker though. Looking forward to seeing Superbad.
Apatow will recover. Not only does he get a lifetime pass for F&G but also Undeclared. That fucking show ruled.
As a huge Freaks and Geeks nut, I wanted to see more of Bill Haverch— I mean, Martin Starr. That man is hilarious and needs to be cast more often and in better roles.

i hearts all the wainwrights. wish they’d make more of them.
hated 40 year old virgin so maybe it depends on your expectations going in.
