Went digging through the Goldenfiddle Archives, again, and came up with these beauties. The original Transformers “Instruction Booklets” for evil decepticons Megatron and Soundwave, and heroic autobots Sideswipe and Optimus Prime. The coolest part about the booklets were the totally useful “Tech Specs”, that alerted the player to that particular Transformers’ available levels of strength, speed, skill, intelligence (sorry, Bluestreak!), etc. This way, you would know which Transformer to take into battle, and which to shove an M-80 into at the end of the day. And for the last time, there’s nothing remotely phallic about Megatron’s trigger placement.
Bonus: Your new Transformers wallpaper, circa 1984.
