Mmmmmmm, Article

”As an event, I think it’ll be somewhere between Sgt. Pepper’s the album and Sgt. Pepper’s the movie.” Ha Ha!

UPDATE: The Variety review of The Simpsons movie is in and…

Put simply, if somebody had to make a Simpsons movie, this is pretty much what it should be — clever, irreverent, satirical and outfitted with a larger-than-22-minutes plot, capable (just barely) of sustaining a narrative roughly four times the length of a standard episode.

Wo-hoo!!!

re: the late night barbarian. don’t have high hopes for the movie. would be more interested in a movie interviewing the writers. there’s conan (who mentions the Ford Taurus in every anecdote), Brad Bird, Larry Doyle (who just released a searingly funny book), Sam Simon (who cashed in to devote his life to dogs), etc. that’s one I’d pay to see.

Always wonder whether Tracey Ullman got a piece of the Simpsons pie (right next to Megan Fox’s pie on the Denny’s menu). And if not: whoops!

Read that Page McConnell played at the premiere, which means some people have already seen it.(?) I’m curious to hear what the buzz is on the movie.

I just read the whole NYPost article yesterday and all the ‘Best’ episodes they named sucked hard.

yay, iceberg averted. and then they should call it a day after this.
